Daily maintenance of the flute
1. Before playing the flute, players should rinse their mouths or brush their teeth to avoid the fine residue of food being blown into the flute after eating.
2. Handle with care, the flute should be placed smoothly on the furniture on a level surface to avoid slipping and rolling.
3. When inserting and unplugging the flute, do not hold the keys and connecting rods with your hands to avoid deformation or displacement of the keys and connecting rods due to force, which will damage the flute and make maintenance very laborious.
4. If you feel thirsty during practice, avoid choosing sugary drinks, which will easily cause the loss of the instrument. Should choose to drink plain water, mineral water.
5. After each playing, carefully clean and wipe the inside and outside of the flute, wipe off saliva, fingerprints and stains, and put the flute back in the flute box for preservation to avoid and reduce the risk of oxidation. Also, choose a soft, lint-free cleaning cloth, and wash and replace the cloth regularly.
